Both wood grain and wood stain will vary from each individual sign. This is a quality to be treasured for its uniqueness. Signs are stained on front and sides. Back is left unfinished with optional sawtooth hanger taped to back for install. Many customers opt to instead use gorilla or 3M mounting tape for an easier install, and for this reason we do not attach the sawtooth hanger so that you have the option. We have several wonderful graphic designers that specifically design all personalized orders that are placed through HeritageSignCo. If you have a specific request (particularly regarding spelling or non-family names), you MUST leave a note on your order at checkout.
